Love and serve all humanity.
Help everyone.
Be happy. Be courteous.
Be a dynamo of irrepressible joy.
Recognise God and goodness in every face.
Praise everyone.
If you cannot praise someone, let them go out of your life.
Be original. Be inventive. Be courageous.
Take courage again and again.
Do not imitate. Be strong. Be upright.
Do not lean on the crutches of others.
Think with your own head. Be yourself.
All perfection and every divine virtue is hidden within you:
Reveal them to the world.
Wisdom, too, is already within you…
Let it shine forth.
Let the Lord’s Grace make you free.
Let your life be that of a rose… in silence,
It speaks the language of fragrance.
– Babaji's message February 1984
On Saturday 13th June, we will open the Babaji Nature Ashram land for our first public gathering together. Over the past months, a lot of practical work has quietly been happening on the land. We have now finally managed to arrange insurance for the land, install fencing around the derelict cottage for safety, and put up a beautiful large marquee — meaning we are finally ready to begin inviting people onto the land together.
This first day will be very simple — just a chance to come together on the land, share kirtan, food, chai, nature, and enjoy being together. Please bring some vegetarian food to share if you can, including a serving spoon if needed, and a small note with ingredients/allergens or dietary information. The gathering will take place in a large marquee, and if the weather is kind to us we hope to open the sides and spend part of the day outside in the sunshine
This is a free donation-based event, created simply to invite people onto the land and share the space together for the first time. Donation buckets will be available on the day, and all profits from chai and snack sales will go directly back into supporting and developing the land project.
We want to thank everyone who has supported, followed, or felt connected to this vision over the years — whether you have been part of the Babaji family for decades or have only recently been inspired by the message of Babaji. We hope this gathering can be the first of many, and another meaningful step towards creating a place for the Babaji family in the UK, for many generations to come.
